Well, did we make a point? Yes, you can now attach files to your team news and calendar events. We have been fielding many requests from you about uploading documents. So, here it is. We are excited to release the new feature as we begin to make your team site a hub for all your communication needs.

It is easy to upload files. Simply, look for the option to 'select a file' while entering your news or events. You can upload any document and it will be stored in your document repository, from where you can select one or multiple files to be attached to the news or event.

Please let us know your feedback on how the documents attachments are working for you. We will be running this on a trial basis to see how everyone is using the attachments. If we see many users being lazy and uploading their schedules spreadsheet rather than using the calendar feature we will most likely yank out the upload feature all together!
