We have two new coaches

      Head Coach Jorge Estave

Head Coach

This year is my fourth year as the head swimming & diving coach.  It is an honor and pleasure to be the head coach of both the girl’s and the boy’s swimming & diving team.  My coaching experience began as an assistant volunteer coach with Robinson Township HS, where I also took on the boy’s diving there for one season before coming over to district 220.

The last four years I was the assistant girl’s varsity, and JV head coach with Templeton, before making the jump here to Reston, where I’ve been the head coach for three seasons.  Not only have I coached for the high schools of the district, I have been coaching with our feeder program, Reptiles, for six years as well.  Last year was one of the most successful girl’s seasons that Reston has ever had, and we look forward to building on that success this season.

              Assistant Coach Beth Nevas

 Asistant Coach

I'm returning for my 4th season as Swimming Coach.  With five returning swimmers, I am pleased to see some new kids trying the sport and looking for more!  We have a young team this season and we are looking to strengthen some of the basics and build from there.  As for me, I started swimming at 6 years old and fell in love with the sport.

I competed at Arlington High School and collegiately at UVA.  During my high school and collegiate careers, I was involved in coaching Learn to Swim programs until I began coaching at VHHS during the boys season in 2003.  In addition to my great love of swimming, I am a huge fan and supporter of diving.  You will often find me at the other end of the pool cheering our divers on.  When I'm not near the water, I'm going to school part-time.
